The Energy Regulatory Authority - ARENE- is the entity that is responsible, within the scope of regulation and development of the energy sector, to instruct and process the public tender processes for the award of concessions for the production, transportation, distribution and sale of electricity, issue the respective paracer, as well as the requests for transmission of the concessions.
